As always, Colebrook students are encouraged to read for pleasure throughout the summer. Students have been given a Summer Reading Journal so they can participate in the Governor’s Summer Reading Challenge. Those journals are to be completed and returned on the first day of school next year. For more information about the Summer Reading Challenge, visit

In addition, students can participate in other summer reading programs such as those at area libraries. Mrs. Parent from the Beardsley Library visited students to explain the summer reading program Beardsley Library has to offer. If you have any questions, please contact Vikki Pac.
