ANNUAL COLEBROOK SKATING PARTY – POSTPONED UNTIL JANUARY 26TH

The Annual Colebrook Fire Department Skating Party will be held on Saturday, January 26th, from 6:30-9:00 PM. Hot cocoa, coffee, donuts, and warm fire provided! (This was rescheduled from January 19th due to anticipated weather conditions.)

RECREATION DEPARTMENT NEWS

Rugby Interest? – Hello sports enthusiasts! Would you like your child (if in Grades 3-6) to have the opportunity to try out Rookie Rugby? Rugby is a non-contact team sport (much like flag football). The Recreation Board is happy to sponsor this activity with anticipated interest of at least 10 or so students. Please contact Chris Kesl for more information (860-248-9589). See Rugby flyer here.

NORFOLK AFTER-SCHOOL PROGRAMS

Norfolk is inviting Colebrook students to sign up for after-school programs. Programs start next week and include: Learn Spanish, Pop Art 101, and Curling at the Club. Information and registration forms are available here. Paper copies are available in the school office.

BEARDSLEY LIBRARY NEWS

 Take Your Child to the Library Day! – 11:00-12:30 on Saturday, February 2nd, at the Beardsley Library in Winsted. There will be Face Painting, Photo Booth, Crafts, Snacks and lots of fun!!! See Library flyer here.

GIRL SCOUT INFORMATIONAL MEETING

An informational meeting will be held at the Beardsley Library in Winsted on Tuesday, February 26th, for girls in Colebrook, Norfolk, Winsted and Torrington. This is a chance to learn about scouting opportunities. See Girl Scout meeting flyer here.
