The units covered in Third Grade Science are Matter, the Relationship of Living Things, Conservation of Resources , Geology and Physical and
Chemical changes.
The first unit we will study will be the relationship of living things. We will
concentrate on habitats, biomes, recycling. We have a working biome in our classroom-our peace lily and beta fish "tank." We have already released a Monarch butterfly in our
bird sanctuary. We have two chrysalises and two j-formed caterpillars.
