Ms. Walsh's Sixth Grade

Recently the sixth graders participated in a mock presidential election.  Each student researched and campaigned for the mock candidate of their choice.   On Monday, November 7, 2005 the students read persuasive speeches supporting the candidate of their choice to the whole class.  After every student read their speech and displayed their campaign poster,  the whole class voted.  The results of our election will be posted next week after the absentee ballots are counted.

Bill Brown (Independent)  13 votes -- Winner!!!

Sam Smith (Democrat)      4 votes

Jim Jones (Republican)     2 votes
