Mo is still looking to "co-book" events with both Barkhamsted and Norfolk again this year. Co-booking works as a cost saving measure and makes a visit to our area more appealing when planning a visit to more than one school.

Old and Ongoing Business: Kathy – First Day had a great turnout of parents & community members. Format was basically the same as last year.

Jess Maiolo – Fall Fundraiser – orders are due by Friday, 9/18. A reminder will be put in the school newsletter to turn in all orders no later than Monday 9/21. Products can be ordered throughout the school year and CCS will get credit.

Book Fair – Karen Odell – October 15-20th, sign up sheet passed for working the book fair. Scholastic may have lowered the profit schedule this year to 25%; Karen will check with them to confirm what the school's profit margin is.

Halloween Party – Cheryl Ullman – the committee has already met several times for planning. Party will be held on Oct 31st. Food, again provided by families, will be in the Sr. Ctr this year. A carnival theme is planned for the games in Town hall. Looking into renting a popcorn machine, or possible borrowing from St Joe's. Also, no smoke machine in town hall this year.
