Old and Ongoing Business:
Halloween Ernie Marmer outstanding job on the town Halloween party. Thank you to everyone who helped, including the town highway dept, Sherri & Jon Gray, the fire department, NWR7 National Honor Society students and parents.
Tastefully Simple Fundraiser Kathy Riberdy off to a good start with $63 profit so far. Merchandise Order form to be attached to school newsletter this week. Youth items have lower profit margin to make them
more affordable to families. So far we have sold 52 shopping bags and 17 water bottles. Clothing merchandise ordered by 12/4 will be in for Christmas delivery.
Scrips Wendy Swartley off to a super slow start, sales to date are approx $2170, down from $7200 last year at this time. Beautification Kathy Riberdy Small turnout, but a great job done. The 3
rd grade butterfly garden still requires more work. New Business: Craft Fair Town craft fair is Dec 12th
at Town hall & Sr Center. PTO will have a merchandise table. Passed a sign up sheet for volunteers to work table at fair. New BOD Members We can have up to 20 BOD members; we have 18 at present. Can add to BOD at
any time. Half of BOD members need to be present to vote. Motion to add Bridgett Barown to BOD by Janice Wald, second by Keirsten Williams. Unanimously approved.
Staff Appreciation Decision to hold Staff Appreciation in May only approved by BOD. Ski Butternut Paula Jessen Butternut offers a discount pass for groups. Members must have membership card to show at ticket
booth. Lift tickets are $35 for a daily pass. Paula will get more info from Butternut and PTO will put announcement in school newsletter to see how many families would be interested in a group discount. Kathy Riberdy
also mentioned a school discount card that offers discounts when shown at local merchants. Each family would purchase the card for $10. More discussion at next meeting. Kathy Riberdy Looked at other fundraising options
and how much do we need/want to raise yearly, toward what purpose. Fundraising helps to keep all our events free to families. Possible fundraising idea for spring fundraiser- Carnival themed fair - cow plop, pie throwing & pie
eating contests, dunk tank, chili cookoff, etc. Possibly offering space to vendors. Planning stage for a "Me and My Guy" Valentine dance, Feb 5th or 6th. Communications:
Thank you from Connor Quinn & friends for Halloween party. Teacher Requests: none Next meeting: January 20, 2010 Meeting adjourned at 8:23pm Respectfully submitted,
