Grade Pasta Dinner PTO NEWS Beautification Update
– Thanks to the small but mighty crew that worked hard last Saturday to prepare the school grounds for our children's first day of school! A few hours of weeding, mulching, raking, weed-whacking and planting made a big difference. Our Butterfly Garden and the front of the school look terrific! Thanks to our volunteers: Josh, Bob & Shari Cormier, Brad & Sue Bremer, Abbi and Ernie Marmer, Trinity & Robert Cottle, Connor & Tracy Quinn, Tom Stanton, and Gabby, Jackie and Andy Riberdy. We will be raking leaves in the late fall. To volunteer, call Kathy Riberdy (860-738-0305).
PTO Directories
– The new PTO Directories will be ready for delivery next week. We will be asking for a $5 donation this year, which will go directly to our PTO and students. If you pre-ordered a Directory, they will be delivered through your child's backpack. If you would like to order a Directory, please send $5 in an envelope marked "PTO Directory" with checks made out to "CCS PTO". Hope they continue to be a valuable resource. On August 30th, one of our own Colebrook families (Eva, Claire, Alexis Villanova and Mark Palmer) lost EVERYTHING in a house fire. There will be a benefit pasta dinner on Monday, September 20th
, at The Tributary Restaurant in Winsted from 4:00-9:00 PM. Look for a flyer with more details next week.
We are in need of a microwave for our kitchen. If you have
one that you no longer use or are replacing and it is still is good condition, please consider donating it to the school. Thank you.
