1. Meeting Call to Order :  The meeting was called to order at 8:03 p.m. by Brad Bremer.

2. Referendum of 2009-2010 Budget:  The Board discussed the Board of Finance meeting  and the results of the referendum vote.  Options were discussed as a result of the Board of  Finance's decision to present the same budget to the town and the worst case scenario if  that passed.

 Jeanne Jones moved that the Board recommend to the Board of Finance to forego the  public hearing scheduled for June 8^th in order to expedite the budget vote to the shortest  time required by law and to expand the voting hours for the referendum to be from 6:00  a.m. to 8:00 p.m. to better accommodate all Colebrook voters.  Barney Adams seconded  the motion.  The motion was unanimously approved.

 Sherri Gray moved that the Board's position is strongly opposed to the decision of the  Board of Finance to resubmit the same budget to the town which was defeated on May  20^th.  The Board asserts that the proposed resubmitted budget does not meet minimal  educational requirements of Colebrook Consolidated School and will negatively impact  the educational program.  Barney Adams seconded the motion.  The motion was  unanimously approved.

 Susan Read Stanton moved that the Board will, at its June 3^rd meeting, designate where  budget cuts will occur in the event that the budget resubmitted by the Board of Finance is  approved at the next referendum.  Jeanne Jones seconded the motion.  The motion was  unanimously approved.

3. Adjournment: The motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Susan Read Stanton and seconded by Barney Adams.  The motion was unanimously approved.   The meeting adjourned at 9:32 p.m.
